Announcements

I released one last pattern in 2020: Shake It Off, a cocktail shaker ornament that will also teach you the Roositud colorwork technique through both photograph and video tutorials.

I made the donation for December sales of the Dumpster Fire 2020 (access via KinoKnits.com or Ravelry) pattern to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank - another $600, for a total of $3,275 for 2020 sales. Thank you so much!

Spinning

Hobbledehoy Rainforest Swirls (Ravelry link). 231 g/8.15 oz. Don’t know yardage yet. Nice and fat 2-ply. Plied, then ran through orifice again to increase ply twist. Photos below show original swirls, my two plies, the first time plying vs the added twist in my hand, and the first time plying vs the added twist on the bobbins.

Working on my half a CVM Romedale fleece from Pheasantfield Farm in Chestertown, MD. Chocolate ewe named Sweetie. Have a plan to stripe it with really old handspun from my stash into a sweater. (Photo below is not of that wool, but the first batts I made on my new drum carder. NO IDEA what that wool is!)
